Pediram-me para explicar como tinha feito o quadro onde escrevo as refeições cá de casa. Por isso, aqui vai!
I was asked to explain how I had done the eat sheet board where I write the meals. So, there it goes!
Aqui está o que vai precisar:
- Um quadro (eu escolhi daqueles sem aro que se compram nos hipermercados, mas serve qualquer outro)
- Um rolo de papel de embrulho (ou uma folha de papel com um motivo à escolha)
- Uma folha de papel mais grosso, para fazer a "moldura" à volta da folha da ementa, com um motivo contrastante do anterior
- Régua, x-acto, lápis e tábua de corte
- A impressão da folha da ementa,

What you'll need:
- A picture frame (I chose a rimless one that I bought in a supermarket, but any kind will do)
- A rol of wrapping paper (or any kind of paper that you like)
- A thicker paper for the eat sheet "frame", contrasting with the first one
- Ruler, x-acto knife, pencil and something to cut on
Abra o quadro e tire uma parte que sirva de molde para cortar a folha que será o fundo.
Open the picture frame to use a part of it for the mold to cut the background paper.
Use a régua para ajudar a traçar linhas direitas com a medida certa do papel de fundo.
Use the ruler to help drawing lines with the correct measure of the background paper.
Depois de traçadas as linhas, com o lápis, corte com o x-acto.
After drawing the lines, with pencil, cut with the x-acto knife.
Ponha o papel cortado dentro do quadro, para mante-lo direito, enquanto cortamos a "moldura" da folha da ementa.
Put the paper that you cut inside the picture frame so that it's plain, while cutting the eat sheet "frame".
Usando a régua, o lápis e a tábua de corte, marque 1,5 cm do limite da folha e trace linhas. Eu aproveitei o canto cortado desta folha, e fiz dois cantos para emoldurar a folha da ementa. Mas caso tenha a folha nova, corte tiras de 1,5 cm para dispor em redor da folha de ementa que imprimiu.
Using the ruler, the pencil and the cutting board, draw lines of 1,5 cm from the border sheet. I used the already cutted corner of this sheet, and made two corners for "framing" my eat sheet. But if you have a brand new sheet, cut 1,5 cm strips to line around your printed eat sheet.

Agora estamos prontos para fazer a montagem. Comece por retirar o vidro do quadro.
And now we're ready to put everything together. Start by taking off the glass from the picture frame.
Em primeiro lugar temos que centrar a folha da ementa.
Meça a altura das duas folhas (a folha da ementa e a folha do fundo). Subtraia uma da outra e divida o resultado por dois. Este último resultado será a medida que fica em volta da folha menor (a folha da ementa), no sentido da altura.
No meu caso a folha da ementa, na altura, mede 29,7cm e a folha do fundo mede 42,2 cm. Subraindo dá 12,5 cm. Dividindo ao meio dá 6,25 cm. Marco 6,25 cm do limite da folha maior (tanto em baixo, como em cima), em direcção ao centro, para deixar a margem à vista e a folha centrada.
Faça o mesmo processo para a largura. Marque estes limites a lápis, muito fininho (só servirão de guia para termos a folha direita).
First of all we have to put the eat sheet in the middle of everything.
Measure the height of the two sheets (the eat sheet and the background sheet). Subtract one from another and divide the result by two. This last result is the measure that stays around the eat sheet, in height direction.
In my case the eat sheet, in height direction, measures 29.7 cm and the background sheet measures 42.2 cm. Subtracting is 12.5 cm. Dividing by two is 6.25 cm. Mark 6.25 cm from the boundary of the larger sheet towards the center (bottom and top), to center the eat sheet.
Do the same for the width. Mark these limits with a pencil, very thin (only serve as a guide to have the eat sheet centered).
Use essa linha que traçou para colocar, no sítio certo, a "moldura" da folha da ementa. Use cola normal (pouca) para fixar a "moldura".
Use the line marked before to put in the wright place the eat sheet "frame". If necessary, use normal glue (only few) to pin the "frame".
Dentro da "moldura" coloque a folha da ementa. Cole com fita cola dupla, se achar necessário. Coloque o vidro por cima e está pronto!
Escreva, no vidro, com caneta de acetato. Sai facilmente com um pano embebido em água.
Put the eat sheet inside the "frame". Pin with double adhesive tape if necessary. Put the glass in place and that's done!
Write, in the glass, with acetate pen. Comes off easily with a cloth soaked in water.
